Job Description
The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies
- Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Ability to work under pressure
- Months to less than 1 year
- Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift
